For two years I was the sole tutor on the Certificate in Person-Centred Creative Arts; teaching it alone, as only the Founder of the programme had done before me. That trust, extended to someone without formal qualifications, was its own form of recognition.

Training in Person-Centred Creative Arts, taught me to trust that the image knows what the ego does not, and gave me ways of facilitating that knowing into the open.

Somatic work, Dance Movement and Focusing deepened a trust in the body's wisdom, because words can sometimes betray what is actually true.

Psychological astrology: studied through MISPA in the Liz Greene tradition, brought a symbolic and archetypal language for the soul's particular shape and timing.

Working across cultures and languages over many years developed an empathy for the sheer variety of ways people experience and perceive their world.

​

Academic work developed a capacity for deep and sustained inquiry; the ability to think critically, to see through things, to hold multiple perspectives without collapsing them into one.
